Documents needed for a Lemon Claim

  • The Purchase/Lease Agreement for the vehicle.
  • The Financing Agreement for the vehicle.
  • The Repair Orders
  • The Title, if there is no financing.
  • The Registration.
  • The Warranty Book.
  • The Owner's Manual.
  • The Window Sticker.

It is not absolutely necessary that you procure all of these documents, but the more of them that you can provide will only serve to benefit your claim.

The Purchase Agreement and the Repair Orders are by far the most important documents on this list. The Purchase Agreement will help in defining what amount or value that you are attempting to recover, and the Repair Orders will help provide the evidence needed to prove that you have a Lemon. If you do not have copies of the Repair Orders, our firm can Subpoena these documents from the dealership that performed the repairs.
