Pennsylvania Uniform Commercial Code

Lemon LawThe Pennsylvania Uniform Commercial Code governs transactions involving the sale of goods in PA. This code provides remedies and procedures to follow if a defective product is sold to you. Namely, it provides that the seller of a defective product must honor the express and implied warranties that were part of the transaction. Our firm includes a UCC claim in most every vehicle lawsuit that we file.

The UCC does not quite have the strength of the PA Lemon Law, but it is close. It provides that the purchaser is entitled to a refund of the purchase price in the event that the goods sold do not meet the warranties and representations that were offered at the time of sale.

The UCC is often the law that we work under with defective commercial vehicle claims as neither the Pennsylvania Lemon Law nor the Magnuson Moss Warranty Act provide protection for commercial vehicles.

If you have a question about the Pennsylvania Uniform Commercial Code, the PA Lemon Law,  Breach of Warranty or any other vehicle related legal question, please call our firm at 1-888-LEMON-44 or send an email to Attorney Greg Artim . We can attempt to obtain a refund of the purchase price of the vehicle or a cash award.
